Welcome back to this week's episode of Unlocked, and I know everyone's super excited because we have Grayson back on. Hey. You brought me up here to bring your viewers back up. Oh my gosh. I wish you would stop. That's when I know business is going downhill fast is when you call me to come back. Oh, is that first off, I didn't call you to come back. You were already coming back. I'm like Brady retiring the first time. They needed him. You're what? Something like Brady retiring the first time. Oh my god. I cannot you always put, like, everything with football. Yeah. You can put a lot of things in life with football. Oh my god. It might make some situations awkward, but you should you should relate it to football. Okay. So you're back from college for the first time. Yeah. What? January 30. When did you actually go? January 5. Oh my god. It seems like so much longer than that. I don't know. It seems like so much longer. In a month. Okay. And how is it? Oh, my god. Everyone the rundown. First off, let's give them the rundown of when we dropped you off. What do you mean? Well, you haven't been on since. Like, since I dropped you off at school and I set up your dorm. I can't put a lot of that stuff in here. Shut up. Like, how was it? That was good. I wasn't as homesick as I thought I'd be. I mean, I had you I had you set up. Yeah. I wasn't as homesick as I thought I'd be. You yes. You were. You were really sad at first. At first. And then I started my TikTok trend going into Chad's office every day. Oh my god. So when y'all it was the funniest thing. I just kept bringing, like, more and more That was awful. And more stuff into his dorm. And he said, could you just stop? Robert Robert and I were sitting there like, is there more? Yeah. And every day, it was another Target trip. But are you prepared? Yeah. Overly prepared. Isn't that a good thing, though? Like, you have all your snacks and your It didn't make the room a lot smaller though. No. It didn't. It did. Compared to my friends that don't have the extra furniture and stuff. Yeah. Well, they're just not prepared. No. They're prepared. Their parents just didn't go buy furniture and put it together in the door. Well, you needed something to go under your bed to hold all your stuff. I mean, you've got all your snacks in there. It's y'all, also too, this furniture in dorms, disgusting. It's not that bad. I tried to wallpaper the furniture if it tells you it was that bad. She went a little overboard. It's just it's so gross. It's like that nasty brown color. Oh my god. No. What'd you expect? We need to, like, make dorms great again, you know? Make dorms have they ever been great? I mean You can't make something great again if they've never been great. Okay. Well, just make dorms great, you know? That would be awesome. Because I I don't know if that's enough to run on, but I mean There's no way I could have lived in one of those. It's not that bad. I just They're only there to sleep. And to your bedding is so cute too. So cute. I just throw blankets on there now. Grayson, why not make your bed up the right way? I don't have time for that. You don't have time for that? No. Doing all I can, making 8AM now. What do you think I'm a do? Wake up, make my bed? Well, I mean, you can make it maybe after. No. So I got other stuff to do. Okay. Well, how are you enjoying it? I love it. You love it? I love everything about it. Do you love it like you thought you were gonna love it? More. Really? Been going to basketball games and Yeah. You go to you go to, like, every event that they have. Yeah. We're number four in the country. Oh my god. And we're great at everything. How are you? Compared to the last school I visited this weekend, yeah. It's bad. Okay. And then can you please give everyone a rundown of how you keep getting notes left on your truck? Yeah. It's happened a few times. Like, I I don't get this. One was two girls at once, so I don't know what they're trying to do there. But, I mean, party party of three is what they were trying to do. Grayson. Then I walked out to my truck the other day, and I go to my truck, like, every three days. Okay. And I walked out there. There was another one on the windshield. And What do they say? Just asking for my Snapchat. They're like, hey. Here's my Snapchat. I love your truck. So let me get this straight. They don't even know who owns the truck, and they're just saying, I like your truck. Who owns the truck. They use the truck as an excuse. Oh, is that so? Also too, this whole Snapchat thing, I cannot. You know what you call those girls? Lot lizards. Okay. We're, yeah. Nope. I'm good. I'm all set. Okay. So basically, what you're telling me is there's a lot of girls who have very little standards at Apple. Okay. First of all, I feel like I'm more at the top of the standard list. No. But I'm just saying, like, they're just going I mean, I can't blame them for shooting their shot. I clearly shoot my shot. I asked Robert the other day. I said, do you think 22 is too old for me? Yeah. He said, I'm in no place to comment on this. He said, I'd tell you to go for it. No. 22 is too old for you. Is 38 too old for you? No. But it's different. Guys and girls. It's different. It's very different. So you're right. Four years and twelve years is very different. No. No. It's different. You're right. That's a huge difference. An older girl and a younger guy. Totally different. That's just weird. A lot of people think somebody that could date you and your mom is weird. K. Well, Andre's telling you. I don't know. Them older ladies love me. Ugh. Like, really? Like, is all that necessary? It's the truth. You want me to lie? Oh, my lord. God help me. So do you have anything good to tell us? I mean, that stuff sounded pretty good to me, but I don't know what you're looking for. But Okay. So classes. How are your classes going? For fun. What classes are you taking? I got, like, a bunch of, like, the freshman classes. Okay. And have you been making it to your classes? Yeah. How many have you missed? One. I missed one. You're lying. Sort of. Yeah. I can tell you're lying. That's Chad. Chad keeps on my schedule. Okay. So you are making it to your classes. You're enjoying it. Yeah. It's crazy to think that you'll literally be home for summer in, like, two months. Yeah. Right? I know. Well, February, March, April. May. Yeah. So three months. Yeah. That's what's crazy. And then, auntie, Chloe's actually been pretty good since you've been gone. She's been blowing me up. Has she? Yeah. Well, that's good. And she's only been late to school one time. I don't believe that. And that's because I was sick. One time. One time, sort of god. No. I don't see how you think I miss my classes when I'm up before you do and call you and you're like, I'm still in bed. No. I'm not. You called me one time, dude. That's not true. One time. That is so true. I called her at, like, 07:45 when she was still in bed. Literally, it was one time because I was sick. I'll pull her records at school. So classes, good. School's good. You still love it. Yeah. How has it been with people recognizing who you are? Oh, it's been insane. And how do you feel about that? Ever happened here. How How do you feel about it? Well, it depends on who it is. What do you mean? Well, there's a bunch of dudes coming up to me. I kinda get a little pissed off. But, like, if it's some good looking girls, then hey. Grayson. Dear god. No. But seriously, it has been worse since ever been here. Well, yeah. And you called me and you were like, this sucks. Like, I It was bad. Don't like this. When I first got there, it was really bad. It's still bad. But And what how did how does that make you feel? I don't care. But does it suck? I mean, sometimes. Sometimes it gets a little, like because you're like, just leave me alone. The room. Yeah. But other than that, it's fine. Has anybody been an a*****e to you yet? No. Not yet. Actually, I was at the Mississippi State basketball game. I almost got into a fight. But other than that What do you mean? Now this kid this kid that goes there, which not a big fan of your school, to be honest. Not the nicest place. But, especially a lot of the people. But we're at the game, and we're sitting with my friends. We're sitting with the players' families because my friend Grant was on the basketball team and he gave me tickets. And they were letting me hear the whole game about Bama and they knew who I was. And we they found us at the end of the game for us to win. So I took my keys out, and I started shaking them. You know, tell them to go warm up the truck. It's time to leave. And he said, you know, you mother like, I'm a beat your a*s. I said, then come down here and do it then. Oh my god. So you're sitting up there, come on down here and do it. And I took the Mississippi State towels off the chairs and threw them off the top deck. Grayson. I wasn't the only person that did it. A lot of people took the towels and threw them. Don't they say Alabama fans are We don't go to the University of Nice. We go to the University of Alabama. We win. We don't care about your feelings while we do it. Y'all don't they pretty much say University of Alabama fans are like a*****es. Because we're the best. No. People tend to hate the people that are the best. Gotcha. No. I remember Robert telling me when they played Auburn back when he was playing football, the University of Alabama fans were literally throwing glass bottles. I didn't fully understand it until I got there. But there's a different level of hatred. It's not just like a game. It's we hate you. Like, we hope nothing good happens to you. That's awful. No. It's it's bad. That's awful. Now how do you think they act towards us? They act the same way. Just because Robert didn't tell you a story about them doing it doesn't they don't do it. There's, you know, those when you went to Auburn, those big trees Yeah. Toomer's Corner. There's one year where Cam Newton was the quarterback, and we were up, like, 20 at halftime. And they came back and won. And you know who Paul Fonbaum is? Uh-huh. He's a bald ESPN guy. He's a bald ESPN guy. When a guy called into the show, he goes, Paul, I'm a go I'm on my way to poison them them damn trees. An Alabama fan who named his son Bear after Bear Bryant Okay. Went to Toomer's Corner and poisoned the trees and killed them. Oh my god. He went to jail and caused, like, $800,000 worth of damage. Stop it. He was, like, 80 years old. Dude, how long did he get in jail? Well, he called back and said, I poisoned them damn trees. And Paul goes, well, are they are they dead yet? He goes, no, but they will be. What? Yeah. You haven't seen that? Hold on. I'm googling it. Okay. Harvey Updike, who poisoned landmark oak trees at Auburn University. Welcome to Unlocked, where it's okay to not be okay. And I saw where they put a scam Newton jersey on Bear Bryant's statue. Okay. And, again, that's twenty eight years later. Okay. Well, let me tell you what I did. The weekend after the Iron Bowl, I went to Auburn, Alabama because I live 30 miles away Sure. And I poisoned the two tumors trees. Okay. Well, that's fair. I put spike eighty d l in them. Did they die? Do what? Did they die? They're not dead yet, but they they definitely will die. Is that against the the law to poison a tree? Well, do you think I care? No. Okay. I really don't. Hey. And you can tell Tammy, I hope never mind. Roll down time. Dude, that's crazy. He got a three year sentence. He had to serve six months of it, and he oh my gosh. This is crazy. Savannah. So it was a felony. Oh my god. Make Bama great again. Hold on. This is wild. I love it. I love it. Okay. So it says he will serve at least six he served six months of a three year sentence for criminal damage to an agricultural facility, which is a felony. He'll also be under five years of supervised probation, which included a 7PM curfew, a ban on attending any collegiate event, and a ban on stepping on Auburn University's property. And the poor guy died back in 2020 at 71 years old. Yeah. God rest his soul. I told Robert this. I said, I would never do something like that, but I will be at the Iron Bowl this year in Auburn. And I will roll those trees when we win. Oh my god. I will be out there in an Alabama football jersey, and I will roll the trees. I cannot get over the fact that this guy poisoned the trees. I I mean, that's a different level of greatness. But, like, what nothing is worth that. I don't know. That was pretty that was pretty good. Sit in prison for You just like he said on that? You think he cared? Oh, yeah. I know. I do. I hate plants. As Sean said, I freaking hate them. I hate a plant. But but see, just like just like he said, do you think he cared? That's just a whole different level of crazy thing. Well, he definitely They rolled the trees because our coach died. Iconic. Now those trees die. That is absolutely insane. And you I think it's a different level of disrespect to a head coach, a legend that died, and you put a scam Newton jersey on his statue. This, I mean, it's something else. You've been playing the game for a little bit. You don't have to pick one. This is something else. Because it can't go both ways. So you don't have to be saying roll tide or whatever those barner say over there in that Cal College. Oh my god. Yo, I really don't even care about college football. Yay sports. Better start saying roll tide. Like, yay sports. If I said roll tide to Robert, it probably would not end well. You should. It'll probably not end well. The best way to describe Tuscaloosa to you is there's an old, there's an old ESPN No. You know what I love about Tuscaloosa is Nick Saban's wife's hotel, like, that they designed. So Nick Saban's wife designed this hotel, and it is amazing, and that's where I stay when I go. I love it. It's so cute and yeah. So that's pretty much the only good thing about it. No. You said it was a nicer campus. I think it is. You said You're you're right. The layout was better. Yes. I think you're right. So it's closer to everything else. Yep. You're correct. And you said that your visit to Alabama was, in quotes, way better than her visit to Auburn. In my defense, I was forced to visit Auburn. I did not want to visit Auburn. Oh, yes. You did. No. I didn't. You said that if I wanted to tour Bama, I had to tour Auburn. Okay. I did not want to tour Auburn. I was taken there against my will. Oh, yeah. Look. Whatever. It's not crazy. It's sports. Oh my god. Well, if y'all can't tell, Grayson is now truly a full on Alabama fan. We play them in basketball come February 15. Oh, god. And that's when we're gonna show we're better than them. And not just football, not just women. Not just the campus, but everything. Alright. So women, campus There's a reason that you don't have to say the University of Alabama. You say the the university. This is the only one in the state that matters. Oh my god. How much are they paying you to say this? They don't have to pay me a thing. I'm actually paying them. Yeah. Well, they they should you should stop giving them such free advertisement at this point. Listen. It's one of God's you for recruitment. It's one of God's holiest temples. Oh my lord. Am I gonna be there in the words of somebody we were around not too recently, the cathedral of college football. Who? Our pilot. Oh, yeah. The cathedral. The cathedral of college football. Oh my gosh. I cannot. That is so am I gonna have to hear this for the next Rest of your life. Probably. Rest of your life. Not three and a half years. The rest of your life. And it's only gonna get worse. Gotcha. Well, yay, sports. Next thing you know, me and Robert will be fist fighting in the living room during an Iron Bowl weekend. Clearly, Grayson loves the University of Alabama. He has no complaints. Not a single one. Not a single one. Besides ticketing, no one get me started on ticketing. I walked in there, so y'all ain't taking people like it's damn Panama out here. I said, I mean, I parked my truck for ten minutes, and I got two tickets on it. How many tickets do you have? I got them thrown out. It's alright. It's not, like, from the state. It's from UA parking. And Scooter at UA parking, I swear to God, if I get another ticket, I'm gonna lose it. Who is Scooter? Dude, he he's part of UA parking, and he's the one that hands out the tickets. And he tried to be real friendly with me at the basketball game when I know he gave me two tickets to earn Bam inbound. So, basically, Scooter, don't be giving don't be giving him any friendly vibes. We don't be giving him tickets. Mm-mm. I cannot. That is amazing. Okay. But, like, do you miss being at home a little bit? A little bit. You miss me. Yeah. Yeah. You know what you would love? What? If you download an app called Yik Yik. What is that? It's What is it? It's you log in with your school email. Okay. And it's people all around campus that you post anonymously. So they don't know who you are when you post. Why so it's like Dude, I scroll through Just for people who talk s**t? Hours. Just for people to talk s**t? Not no. It's half the time, it's not even talking s**t. It's just funny. Like, it's there's a wreck in Tuscaloosa, and somebody posted it and said, sorry. You can't park there. UA parking. Here's a $25 parking ticket. Are you just gonna sit here and read that post time? Alright, y'all. Let me tell you about the shoes that have literally changed my life. Yes. I think you know where I'm going with this. G Defy shoes. Between running my businesses and staying active, my feet used to be in constant pain, but not anymore. G Defy's Shock technology absorbs all that impact and actually gives energy back with every single step. It actually feels like you're walking on clouds, and they're stylish too, which is a must for me. This is what life is supposed to feel like when you're on your feet for eight, ten, twelve hours a day. But when I tried G Defy shoes, I cannot tell you. I literally could stand on my feet for twenty four hours a day. They are so freaking comfortable. Here's the best part. G Defy is giving you 50% off orders over a 20. So just go to gdefy.com and use promo code unlocked at checkout or text code unlocked to 91888. That's code unlocked to 91888. Trust me. You'll feel the difference. Now you're home for the weekend. Y'all go back Sunday. Mhmm. And It's a big deal I'm coming home because we got Georgia in basketball this weekend. So I see. You love it, though. That's how you know I love you. I know. And two, Chloe was excited for you to come home. Till I showed her my laundry. Yeah. Like, okay. Can someone please help me understand this? Why bring laundry home just so you have to tote it back with you when you could just do it there? Because I don't have to clean it. I don't have to wash it. Your clotier do it. I just don't I I don't get the logic. It's more work to bring it and then bring it back than it is to actually do it. No. It's more work to sit there for a few hours and wash it than How are you going to survive? I'd rather bring it back. I've done my laundry. Yeah. Oh, okay. I have. No. You found you called me one day and said No. I just didn't say that. That was when I first got there. And shut up. You're gonna get me in trouble. Okay. I don't wanna hear that s**t. How am I supposed to know? Just stop. I said I would eventually. Instead of cutting it out, just bleep it. I said I would eventually. Okay. She did fold my laundry the other day. She didn't do it. She did fold it, though. She folded it. Yeah. But I mean, I was watching basketball. I cannot. Oh, lord. Help me. That's a nice gesture if you ask me. Okay. It's gonna take more than just doing some laundry. Oh, no. I'll take it. I mean Oh my lord. Have mercy. So you came home. Today's Thursday. Tomorrow, we're going to see mom. Yeah. And it's been a while since you've seen them, hadn't it? Mom, less than a month. No. It was right before I left. Okay. But I know she's so excited. She's so excited to see you get the rundown of everything you've been doing. And then when you came home so Grayson's came home today. I made a fresh loaf of sourdough bread. Dude, I think our coping mechanism is making bread because I don't know what's going on. It's kinda weirding me out. What do you mean? You just make bread every day. I it's therapeutic. I've never heard somebody's coping mechanism is making bread. Well, it's therapeutic, if I must say. And I enjoy it. And You're really starting to show your age. K. Well, I made a fresh loaf of sourdough bread, chicken parm, pasta, an apple kale walnut salad. Oh my gosh. So good. You're gonna love it. I'm just telling you. You're gonna love it. And I honestly think I'm gonna start a cook I wanna do, like, a cooking series of, like, a wine night cooking series. That'd be a blast, And I think people would really catch on to it. Hey. You love my cooking. Yeah. But I ain't gonna watch it. But Other people might. I don't know. I think people would watch it. If I did, like, easy meals Other people watch this for eleven years, and I've never watched it. So Yeah. See? Exactly. I could do, like, easy meals for kids, how to make my sourdough, give a little gossip along the way. I think it could be great. Yeah. I think it could be great. And then you and I did discuss today about us potentially starting back filming and you having to skip out on spring break. I'll skip out on spring break for that type of moment. So I don't give a s**t about spring break when it comes to that. See? And that's what I love about Grayson. And I'll be home anyway. It's the SEC tournament. I'll be on I'll Yeah. It's the best of both worlds. So Grayson has a really good ability to see the broader picture of things. And if he can work, make money, and then go back to school? If the SEC tournament wasn't here during that week, it would have been a harder It would have been a harder, yes. Conversation. But since that's here and I get free tickets, then Oh, yeah. We should go. I will definitely go. I'll go with you. You don't wanna go to that. Why? So I don't know if you know how the SC tournament works, but there's, like, four games in one day. Oh, yeah. No. That's a solid no for me. I'm all set. Yeah. You can go for the Bama game. Yeah. I'll do that. I will do that. Okay. Well, I'm trying to think if there's anything else good. I don't think so. The Mississippi State mascot noticed me. What and is that supposed to be like a No. It's pretty funny. I mean, they DM'd me on Instagram. Stop it. Yeah. About not I didn't tag them. Stop. That's hilarious. Yeah. I was just trying to I'm not gonna lie. I was just kinda trying to be an a*****e. Why why do you what what's coming up with that song? Picture with their cheerleaders and their mascot, and I got their mascot to put this up. That's hilarious. So it was like, you know, even your mascot is saying, like Oh my god. Well, I did a magazine photoshoot the other day, and, god, I looked fire. Post, you really are feeling yourself. I was. I looked really good here, and I don't look like that now. No. She looks busted now. Thank you, Grayson. That's very kind of you. You need somebody to keep you down. That's very kind of you. I greatly appreciate it, and I love you. Love you too. So when are you coming home next? I don't know. You don't know? I got a big basketball slate coming up. The last few games, I gotta be there. Okay. So you're we're going into February. Last six out of last our last seven games are all ranked opponents. I can't leave. We got Kentucky in Alabama. We got Auburn in Alabama. Well, guys, if you need to know where to find Grayson, he just gave you his own schedule. Coleman Coliseum. Yes. So there you go. You've got Grayson. And I am going to DC in February, like, February. That will be fun and exciting. And, obviously, I'm working my butt off for mom and dad to try and get them home. And Alex and I are doing a special on a big news outlet soon, so we're doing that. Filming, we're in the final negotiations of that. They wanna start, like, yesterday so it can be on air in August. I think they have, like, an air date of August 11, which my birthday. Lucky day. So those are really the big updates. And now we're gonna go home and have dinner, and I'm not kidding. I really wanna know if you guys think I should do, like, a once, twice a month cooking series or maybe once a week. Who knows? We'll see. Because I'm thoroughly enjoying all of my bread making, and I can make some good food. Because, let's face it, I am my mother's child. And I will say recently, it has been so frustrating because Grayson and Chloe eat everything, literally everything. They're the best eaters, like, not picky at all. And I was at Roberts and I was cooking for the boys, and they are the pickiest eaters, but I made that chicken egg noodle casserole. They loved that. And I made pork chops and brown rice. Loved that. Like, very simple meals. So I may do, like, a kid friendly addition and then a fun adult addition. So we'll see. Alright. I'm trying to keep myself busy. You know? You have to or else should you go insane? Yes. I will go insane. I think I'm already halfway there, so I don't wanna finish it off. More than half. Okay. Well, until next time, guys. Roll Tide. Appreciate you listening. And as Grayson says Roll Tide. Yeah. Yay, sports. Just hang on. Hi. Caitlin Bristow, host of Off the Vine podcast where I get real, well, maybe a little too real sometimes, with my friends and celeb guests from Bachelor franchise and beyond. Heidi D'Amelio, Big Brother's Taylor Hale I have to bring it up because it happened, and we're gonna get through it. What'd I do? And so many more. So come hang out with us, hear ridiculous confessions, and get a little vulnerable because you know what? We're all just floating on this weird little planet together.
