On Sunday morning, October 1, 2006, Marie Warren's grandson called the Lapeer County Sheriff's Office to report his grandmother missing. Shortly thereafter, just as investigators were securing the crime scene, Ms. Warren's body was found approximately five miles from her home. She had died from blunt force trauma to the head and neck, and there were indications of post mortem mutilation. What was the offender's motive? Why was the body removed from the scene? Was the offender someone close to the victim or was this a random act of violence? Listen as retired FBI profilers Julia Cowley, Susan Kossler Drew, and Bob Drew discuss the unusual and brutal aspects of this case.
