The Wild made a significant trade this past Sunday and with a pair of games under the belt it's time for the Overtime Hockey Show to look at it.
Pete Waggoner and the St. Paul Pioneer Press' Dan Mizutani looked at the immediate dividends the trade has paid for the Minnesota Wild. The also looked ahead to the challenging schedule and how this team is built with depth to go deep in the playoffs.

WCHA Women's Hockey Commissioner Katie Million joined the show to discuss the upcoming WCHA Final Face-Off that will play out at Ridder Arena this weekend.

Eden Prairie coach Lee Smith joins the Overtime Hockey Show to discuss his top ranked Eagles team. The show discusses the playoff run this year, the attention they are receiving from the documentary show "Dream State" and took a look at some of the other teams and their strengths that remain in the playoff hunt.

It is State Tournament time for the MSHSL and the Overtime Hockey Podcast is picking up it's coverage as the tournaments are being played out.

We open the show with Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer Press and TwinCities.com and assess the Wild as they head into the 5-day break.

We take a deeper dive into the High School hockey playoffs as Tim Kolehmainen from Breakdown Sports USA joins host Pete Waggoner as they discuss the Girls state hockey tournament that started today. They also recap some key sectional playoff games from the boys including the Moorhead Spuds 6-0 win over Rogers. Spud head coach Jon Ammerman shared his post game thoughts with us as well.

The Overtime Hockey podcast talked Wild puck and what they should do as the trade deadline nears if anything. Dane Mizutani from the St. Paul Pioneer Press and TwinCities.com joined Pete Waggoner to take the dive into Wild hockey.

Cory Hunt from the Minnesota Loons AAA Hockey program joined the show to discuss his program which is in it's inaugural campaign for players of birth years 2003 and 2004. Tryouts are under way and Hunt discussed those along with his program's philosophy.

Breakdown Sports USA's Tim Kolehmainen brought his usual hockey insights to the program as he and Waggoner looked at the Ms. Hockey finalists and the Mr. Hockey Finalists for the 2016-2017. The regular season for the boys schedule is coming to a close with playoff discussions taking center stage.

The Overtime Hockey Podcast presented by Let's Play Hockey delivers a high school hockey recap from Thursday night December 1st. The program features discussion and post game audio from the Eden Prairie 6-1 win over Cretin-Derham Hall. Let'sPlayHockey.com's Bart Archer joined the show to offer his takes on the game that live streamed last night. Host Pete Waggoner and Archer took a sneak peak at the LPH.com streaming schedule slated for the next two weeks.

Segment two with Breakdown Sports USA's Tim Kolehmainen covered a key matchup in Section 8AA last night between Moorhead and Bemidji with post game interviews, Key games from Thursday night and a look ahead for the weekend were discussed on the segment as well.

We welcome Eden Prairie head coach Lee Smith who discusses his top ranked team, Casey Mittelstadt, and the rest of the high school hockey field. Regular Overtime Podcast contributor Tim Kolehmainen discussed the Let's Play Hockey lists that include the best Class AA boys hockey programs in the state, the top 50 players and the season ahead with host Pete Waggoner.

The Overtime Hockey Podcast presented in part by Let's Play Hockey covers the PeeWee's to Pro's this week. Minnesota Golden Gopher Men's play-by-play voice Wally Shaver assessed the impressive weekend series that Minnesota had with North Dakota and gave his early impressions on this year's team.

Dane Mizutani from the St. Paul Pioneer Press and TwinCities.com talked Wild. The show welcomed in Scott Oliver the head coach for the Great Plains team that recently won the Upper Midwest High School Elite League playoff title and he discussed the season and league. Oliver also serves as an assistant coach at East Grand Forks and he touched on the upcoming high schools season with host Pete Waggoner.

In our final segment, Dan Iannazzo from the Midwest Hockey Program shared information on his upcoming 3-on-3 holiday tournament and filled us in on his program.
